Netflix, Disney+ and Co.: The best films and series in June

June 2026 will be a land of plenty for streaming fans. Spiegel has compiled an overview showing which classics deserve a second look and which new releases are particularly worthwhile. One thing stands out: queer series from Poland, Nicolas Cage films and ARD productions that are actually funny characterise the offering.

Netflix leads the selection. The New York Times has curated 25 films ranging from comedy classics to recent Oscar winners.
