Alba Berlin dominates further — Bayern series against Bonn remains open

The Basketball Bundesliga has its semifinal series in full swing – and shows a clear picture: the favorites are prevailing, but no one can rest on their laurels.

"We can't buy anything with this," Alba warned after the game and indicated that Bamberg will show a different face in the second matchup on Monday.

Dramatic comeback in Munich

For Bayern Munich, the opening was more dramatic. The Munich team turned around a long-seeming hopeless match against Telekom Baskets Bonn and won after an impressive comeback in the final quarter. Bonn led for a long time and narrowly missed a surprise. Bayern showed their individual class in the closing phase and secured the first game of the series.

But the Munich team also knows: one win is just one win. The series is at most five games long, and both favorites must maintain their concentration.
