Cancellation / Withdrawal

Scope

This withdrawal policy applies to all paid purchase flows of Kirla Chronicle: monthly subscriptions (General Briefing, Personal Light, Personal), annual plans/one-time payments (General Briefing, Personal), and chat-credit top-ups (prepaid balances).

Not covered: the free trial period (no purchase contract) and the free plan (no paid transaction). Business customers (B2B) do not have a statutory right of withdrawal.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date of conclusion of the contract.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us — Not published yet., Platz der Einheit 2, 60327 Frankfurt am Main, Email: contact@kirla-webservices.com — by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Special Notice — Loss of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires for contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. annual plans, chat credits) if we have begun performance after you have given your prior express consent and acknowledged that you will lose your right of withdrawal once we have fully performed the contract (§ 356 para. 5 BGB).

For monthly and annual subscription services, the right of withdrawal remains in place for the full 14-day withdrawal period even after deliveries have started. The delivery of individual daily issues during that period does not terminate the right of withdrawal. If the contract is withdrawn within the period, a pro-rata payment is owed for the services rendered up to the withdrawal (§ 357a para. 2 BGB). The right of withdrawal only expires once the service has been fully performed — for monthly subscriptions, at the earliest at the end of the paid period, which lies beyond the 14-day window.

Before paid digital services, a separate, transaction-specific consent for immediate execution is collected. This consent is documented as evidence after confirmed payment; without valid consent evidence, digital fulfillment is not automatically released.

Current Product Status

For the first self-serve rollout, only one credit top-up purchase path is active. Additional paid product paths follow in separate rollout phases.
