Magnitude 6.2 earthquake off the coast of Calabria in southern Italy — June 2026

A powerful earthquake of magnitude 6.2 struck the southern Italian region of Calabria during the night. The quake occurred off the coast near Amantea at a depth of approximately 250 kilometres in the Tyrrhenian Sea and was felt across large parts of southern Italy.
